Steve Irwin's tribute

currently watching Steve Irwin's tribute on channel 10, Animal Planet.. its a marathon special which will last till 9pm tonight.. haha, quite mad to be watching the whole day, but i thought, its just gonna be one of the last time u get to see so much of his action in a day.. so why not!

at this part of the tribute, they are showing how they went about filming a movie (backscenes) about him, his wife and their bestfriend, the crocs!

and this particular scene hit me hard...

his daughter was watching him jumping ard trying to hug the croc, which is one of the scene of the movie..

Little Irwin : what are you doing here mummy?
Mummy Irwin : waiting to see how things goes, if daddy needs help, mummy gotta save him before the croc hurt daddy..
Little Irwin : *tears start to roll down her cheeks* i don't want daddy to get hurt

-Steve Irwin just happened to walk past her, Little Irwin grab him by his legs and starts to cry-

Steve Irwin : don't worry sweetie, daddy is gonna be alright. you will do me great if you keep on saying "Be careful daddy!"

-filming resumes-

for the next 15mins, you see their 2-yr-old Little Irwin, shouting and waving at her daddy..

"Be careful daddy!"
"Daddy im here! be careful!"
"Daddy, he's (croc) near, careful!"

Didnt feel much knowing his death, maybe just a sigh for a lost of someone significant. but watching that certainly made me feel for his love ones. knowing that he's gone..
